The school is run by Miss Yvonne Plester who has been the principal of the school for 25 years.
Yvonne Plester FISTD CDE
Yvonne was trained at the School under the direction of Miss Yvette Sargent and Miss Mavis Butler - both well recognized examiners and teachers in their field. Yvonne is also is an approved tutor to coach pupils for teaching qualifications in the 4 branches of dance. She has been the choreographer of Chesham pantomime for several years and also works as a freelance teacher.
Yvonne is a member of the Board of Management of the Elgiva Theatre, Chesham.
Samantha Vale
Samantha Vale is a professional dancer and teacher based in Greater London. She works commercially on major television shows, music videos and film as well as theatre and corporate work in the UK and internationally. Samantha has travelled extensively through her teaching, choreographic and performance work and has worked with many street dance and hip hop companies. Samantha teaches the street dance discipline in the school and feels honoured to be part of the faculty as she was trained by Miss Yvonne in ballet, tap, modern and national from a young age. - www.samantha-vale.com
Alexis Caley
Alexis trained at Redroofs Theatre School and Laine Theatre Arts. Since graduating in 1997 she has had extensive credits in musicals, plays, film and TV. Some of her credits include: theatre: Chicago (international tour), Boogie Nights (UK and USA), The Boyfriend (national tour), Don’t Dress for Dinner (national tour), Love for Love (London) and many more. Alexis has concentrated on film the past few years and is currently filming a few projects with two on cinema screens this year. Alexis also has extensive credits as a model, dancer, presenter and choreographer. She has been a teacher of drama and dance for 12 years and is also a private Lamda coach for exams of all levels.
Lee Bright
Lee trained at Mountview Theatre School in London. He has worked extensively around the World and in London’s West End, playing various leading roles in productions including; Grease, South Pacific, Fame, Jesus Christ Superstar, The 12 Irish Tenors etc etc. TV, Film and Radio work includes; Feature films, Docu-dramas, and also recording work for BBC Radio. Lee has worked as Vocal Captain on Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Hey!Mr Producer, and teaches one to one and group singing lessons here in Bucks.
